In this training, you'll learn the basics of beginning your mindfulness practice!  You'll be invited to learn mindfulness practices to cultivate present moment, mindful awareness of breath, body and senses, as well of mindful states around your emotions and thoughts.  These practices are helpful in managing stress more healthfully and effectively, cultivating calm and attuned responsiveness both towards ourselves and to those around us, and in supporting our happiness.

Spring 2017 Mindfulness Farm Retreat + Workshop

Workshop Fee $60

 The Workshop + Retreat will include a basic introduction to mindfulness and mindfulness practices, including mindfulness of the body, breath and senses.  We will focus on basic mindfulness practices to begin learning to calm, focus and quiet the mind.  Over time and with practice, we increase self-awareness and are able to be more present in our lives, moment by moment.  A bit of very gentle yoga and breath practice will also be offered.  These yoga movements will be accessible for every body - if movement is restricted or painful, good and comfortable accommodations will be made! Finally, we will close the workshop with relaxation practices to restore and deeply rest both body and mind.

The Workshop will be  held at the Vause Farm (about 15 minutes South of Tallahassee) just outside of Crawfordville. Exact directions will be provided after Registration.  The workshop will be held outdoors (under cover), so please wear comfortable layers and bring a yoga mat for some very gentle movement.  

A Light Vegetarian Lunch included for additional $10. See the Registration for $70 (with lunch).  Or, feel free to brown bag it!
